Hi, I am Akeela. The founder of Inner Dynamics Play and Family Therapy. I am a registered certified Play Therapist, with over 15 years experience in education. I provide children and their families emotional and behavioural support through the language of play. I am regulated by PTUK and DBS registered.
Children may not have the words to express their feelings, behaviours or emotions. This form of therapy is to help children express themselves through play and art materials giving them an insight into their inner world in dynamic ways.
Children, teenagers and adults can benefit from play therapy. Those who have experienced or are experiencing bereavement, trauma, bullying, anxiety, autism and many other issues can see improvements in their wellbeing. I offer individual and group sessions for children and working with families is coming soon.
